2/5. An entry in that peculiar subgenre of scifi where angels are some variety of quantum beings. This had all sorts of things I like – lesbians, dinosaur battle – but managed to be that flavor of weird that I find dull instead of engaging. Something something sentient oil, higher-dimensional angel wings, time travel, artificial intelligence, and a prehistoric frog. And yet . . . dull, and I'm not entirely sure what actually happened.
