Bad ScienceBad Science by Ben Goldacre

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

British journalist has an extended fit over the misuse and abuse of medical science in the press, with particular vitriol for the MMR-autism bullshit. Depressing as hell and tragically funny. Pretty dumbed down, though, and I found the blithe assurances of "now you know everything you need to in order to see through faulty study interpretations!" pretty silly, if not disingenuous. But I spend time on Pubmed for fun and have multiple undergrad and graduate courses in interpreting scientific research for the non-scientist under my belt, so yeah, not my jam, but it could definitely be someone else's.
