Me: I’m reading a Tanya Huff book from that weird series.
Spouse: You’re going to have to be way more specific than that. Do you mean--?
Us, simultaneously: The deer incest one.
Me: Yup.
[several days later]
Me: I finished the deer incest book, which in this case is actually a deer incest time loop book. She time looped it to make it more incesty. Somehow.
Spouse: Did you like it?
Me: I mean . . . I enjoyed reading it. The characters are still great. And now I wish not to think about it very hard. I genuinely admire her commitment to her kinks, I’ll say that.
