The Broken Window (Lincoln Rhyme, #8) The Broken Window by Jeffery Deaver

My rating: 2 of 5 stars
Quadriplegiac forensics expert chases a killer who controls victims through data mining.

I keep reading this series because the forensics are just good enough to overcome the wretched writing and cheap plot tricks. That and I feel vaguely obligated to follow mainstream, best-selling fiction featuring a disabled protagonist. Refreshingly, these books are at least medically accurate, and Rhyme has a sex life, *gasp*. The psychological realism is a bit more, uh. Well, it's not wrong, it's just the kindergarten course.
