City of Glass (Mortal Instruments, #3) City of Glass by Cassandra Clare

My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Man. When you figure out everything of substance about a book – who the spy is, who everyone’s real parents are, how this will be revealed – before the 25% mark, a book can be really fucking long.

Well, now it’s done and I’ve read it, so at least I have a sense of accomplishment.

This is not a bad book, actually. It follows the series trend and is more accomplished than the previous book, and there were two or three particularly tense, vivid scenes (angel, ah!). And I even dredged up a modicum of caring for the het ship . . . ish.

But, really. I figured out everything so far in advance, I read rapidly just to confirm and move on with my life.
