D.L.Sayers sometimes mentions the Kai-Lung books in her Wimsey stories,so I looked until I found some.They are tales told from a Chinese viewpoint with English bureaucratic snsibilities,and if you're in the mood for them,are highly entertaining.There is one available on Project Gutenberg,as a taster.
