I suppose. Though the more I think about this book, the less it works.
It's another one all about adult manipulation of children --
Christopher gets maneuvered into working for his uncle, then gets
maneuvered even less politely into being the next Chrestomanci. And
the arc of the book is him deciding which of these decisions made for
him he's going to commit to. Which is pretty bleak, if you think about
it.
