2/5. Various adventure-ish things happen across a post apocalyptic landscape littered with the remains of semi-sentient war tech, except one of the biggest AI weapons of all is waking up.
Meh. The worldbuilding is doing something – though it made me think of one of those sprawling map video games more than anything – but the rest of this didn't work for me. Way too many points of view, emotional arcs that seemed to come out of nowhere, visible stitch marks where you could see the author did massive surgery on the draft.
