DNF. Short M/M romance about two guys on opposite sides of a hostile corporate takeover except whoops they have been casually fucking, awkward. Nothing terribly wrong with it, but nothing particularly right either. I am letting my picky flag fly in re romance these days, so have no problem dropping one where I'm halfway through and if you asked me to describe the character of one of the leads, I'd say, "um . . . he's rich?" Spoiler: that is not a character trait.
Tangentially, why do so many romance authors think wealth is inherently sexy? . . . Don't answer that.
