I loved Violet and, uh, whatshisname in the previous two books. They had a playful, supportive friendship that I adored. I was really looking forward to reading this, but it had a totally different emotional tone, and the level of melodrama was way too much for me.
Also the whole pregnancy/punishment/abuse angle, ugh, and I too was muttering about oral and anal sex because COME ON.
