Oh, sure, the Faceless Man theory being that he was either David Mellenby -- somehow -- or more likely was taught by him. Mostly because I find it hard to believe that whole thing was dropped in just to illuminate Nightingale -- it seems like it must be for something else, too. And after Hanging Tree I have new guesses about what, but I will refrain.
