Maybe the similarity between the writers is the confidence they have in... not the certainty of medical care, because as you've said, this process is not ultimately within anyone's control, but... the certainty that the medical system is slanted in their favor? That they have access to care, that their opinions will be heard, that everyone involved at least wants them to have a positive experience and outcome?

Maybe they sound similar because none of them are wondering whether the medical staff think they should not be having this child, or should not be consuming medical resources in this country, or might provide inferior care because of those things?
