R is about 2/3 through it, and thinks it's great. He's also the type to read the last 10 pages first, so maybe that will stick.
The most telling thing about the hardcopy is the HUGE font for the author's name and the wackily small font for the, you know, actual title. Marketers, WTF?
Anyway, someday i'll have time to read it. In the meantime, I really enjoy living vicariously through reviews. A guy on Amazon gave it 4 out of 5 stars because while it was probably the best book he will read this year, it's no Cryptonomicon. I'm starting to feel bad for Neal!
