3/5. A century ago, the Pulse swept through the galaxy, destroying higher technology and plunging most civilizations back to pre-spaceflight. Now, an operative from a shadowy organization recruits special kids who started to be born with extraordinary talents after the Pulse.
Competent space opera. Or, really, thriller with space opera wrapping. This is, like, 60% shoot-em-up fights by volume, 20% community building/found family, and 20% a bunch of random other stuff. Nothing particularly wrong with it, but I probably won't remember it in a year or two.
