I actually have a suspicion it will end rather summarily with a pregnancy and maybe big skip forward for an epilogue. Which is a shame because (1) I'd actually enjoy reading about it, and (2) it's a really interesting and loaded place for both Eve and Roarke to go as people. Parenting makes you re-parent yourself (ask me how I know), which is pretty complicated when the parenting you got -- or didn't get -- wasn't, uh, good.
