I'm so glad you posted about this, and I would love to hear more about it when you have the brainspace to think about anything but your job. I rarely read books these days (or fic either, just now, thanks, fic that ate my brain) but when I do I mainly read women. In many ways that's default for what I'm interested in reading, though so often I read a summary of a book and think, I bet that was written by a man, and I'm turned right off. Anyway, I'd love to hear more about authors you discovered and if there were commonalities you found. What you missed, if anything, during the year, etc. Anyway, we'll have to discuss, possibly over giant cocktails once you've gotten a long sleep and started to slowly destress.
