I love how every time I reread this book, I get something different out of it. I swear I was almost more consume by the mystery the first time I read it, in college; later rereadings were much better because I wasn't so worried about the whodunit. (I was concerned it would be someone I cared about, and should have realized Sayers had too much invested elsewhere to make the murderer really important.)
Now I just keep getting more and more from Harriet's struggle to get out of the world, and then to work out how she can be in it and not of it. I logged my most recent reread here (http://sophia-helix.livejournal.com/423354.html#cutid2), if you're interested.
