If there's any testament to how not-good this book was, it's that my only memory of it is a vague sense of disappointment with the resolution. That and how outraged I was at the beginning that this guy with no relevant training was getting to catalogue this library, and how relieved when another character showed up to point this out and do it properly. But then she sleeps with him for no apparent reason, I think, and it was back to outrage - not even attention to library cataloguing could save it.

(...I'm 85% sure I'm referring to the right book?)
