Hm. So, if I were to return to those halcyon days when I read actual published books and not 1000s of pages of mostly terrible fan fic I'm currently reading, what Neal Stephenson book should I pick up? I believe I got 10 pages into Cryptonomicon before abandoning it for...something else. I can't even remember at this point. Should I go back to it? Should I try Diamond Age? This one?
